3.0 METHODOLOGY
In the previous chapter, we have discussed some relevant studies. Methodology includes a collection of theories, concepts or ideas as they relate to a particular discipline or field of inquiry (benefits of sport) .There are four parts in this chapter which are sample, data collection method, data collection instrument , procedure and questionnaire.

3.1 Sample
This study will be participate by University Malaysia Pahang student’s at Campus Gambang which came from various faculties, courses, genders and year. Around 30 students will be selected randomly to make this study more effective.

3.2 Data collection method
Data collection method is a term used to describe a process of preparing and collecting data . The purpose of data collection is to obtain information to keep on record, to make decisions about important issues, to pass information on to others. Primarily, data is questionnaire where collected to provide information regarding a specific topic.

3.3 Data collection instrument
Questionnaire will be conducted to take the result on how sport give benefits to students UMP. By use observation, my group create effective survey questionnaire as data collection instrument. Then, we select the respondents as randomly to answer the questionnaire. We will administer respondents about date, venue and time to the survey questionnaire. From the survey, we tabulate the data collected by statistical analysis-frequency, mean and correlation percentage (%). After tabulate the data, we analyze and interpret data collected by doing pie chart or bar chart.


3.4 Data collection procedure
In UMP there are eight faculties that are Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Chemical and Resources Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electric and Electronic Engineering, Computer and Software Engineering, Science and Technology Industry, Management and Technology, and Manufacturing Engineering. Based on our proposal, we will select around 30 students from variant faculties to answer the questionnaire. We start our carry out survey from week seven to week eight, based on our proposal (planning). This data collection procedure (questionnaire) will just do at UMP. This questionnaire also will distribute at library, mosque, cafeteria and hostel. Students will answer the questionnaire based on the given instruction by our group.


3.5 Data analysis
The data collected will be analyzed using frequency count method. The result will be presented in pie chart forms in the next chapter.
